Hi, I'm Ariel Travis
M.S. SLP- CCC, CLC
Ariel is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping children communicate, eat, and thrive. She completed a Master’s in Speech and Hearing Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill and a specialized pediatric dysphagia fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Ariel has worked across the outpatient, PICU, NICU, and inpatient rehabilitation settings within a pediatric hospital, providing care for children with a wide range of needs.
A Fulbright recipient and returned Peace Corps volunteer, Ariel’s love for speech pathology grew from her global volunteer work, helping children with medical, developmental and cognitive differences.This experience fuels her empathy, dedication, and commitment to helping children find their voices. She brings a global perspective, curiosity, and individualized care to every child and family she works with, ensuring therapy is meaningful and empowering.
